The proposed dormer windows by virtue of their position on the roof slope would have an unacceptable impact on the historic fabric and structure of this Grade II Listed Building due to the cutting of the historic round purlins which are the principal timbers in an original historic roof structure. The proposal is therefore contrary to Development Policy 5 of the Core Strategy and Development Policies contained within the National Park Local Development Framework
